Tools Required:

Die Grinder, 3/16 Punch, Hammer, Electric Drill, 1/4 drill bit 5/32 Hex key, 1/8 Hex key, 3/8 combination wrench, and 7/16 combination wrench

Step A: Bottom Bracket Assembly

1. Locate 3 ¾ “Z” brackets

3 – 10-32 x 5/8 long button head screws

3 – #10 washers

3 – 10-32 black cap nuts

2. Place# 10 washers on 10-32 screws

3. Rotate Grill so that 40 ½ inch wide side is up

4. Place bracket on back of grill

5. Place 10-32 screw and washer through bracket into grill tab and start cap nut on screw

6. Leave these 3 screws loose for final adjustment of grill at installation

Step B: Top Bracket Assembly

1. Locate 3 – 1 1/8 “Z” brackets

3 – 10-32 x 5/8 long button head screws

3 – #10 washers

3 – 10-32 black cap nuts

2. Place# 10 washers on 10-32 screws

3. Rotate Grill 180

4. Place bracket on back of grill

5. Place 10-32 screw and washer through bracket into grill tab and start cap nut on screw

6. Leave these 3 screws loose for final adjustment of grill at installation

Step C: Assembly of Side Brackets

1. Locate 6 – “Z” shaped brackets

6 – 10-32 screws

6 – #10 washers

6 – black cap nuts

2. Place# 10 washers on 10-32 screws

3. Rotate Grill 90 °

4. Place bracket on back of grill as shown

5. Place 10-32 screw and washer through bracket into grill tab and start cap nut on screw

6. Leave these 6 screws loose for final adjustment of grill at installation

Step D: Removal of Stock Grill

1. Open Hood

2. Using cut-off wheel on die grinder, cut the back of the 27 rivets that hold the grill insert in place.

3. With the 3/16 punch and hammer, knock the rivets out of the holes

4. Enlarge grill mounting holes in 2 pieces grill ring. surround using ¼ inch drill bit

Step E: Installation of “Details” Horizontal Billet Grill

1. Locate 3 – ¼-20 x 1 ½ inch long SS Button head screws.

21 – ¼-20 x 1 inch long SS Button head cap screws.

24 – ¼-20 Ny-Loc Nuts

2. Insert SS Button head screws into 2 pieces grill ring. Use masking tape to temporarily secure grill ring to grill

3. Lift new grill over engine into hood

4. With polished side out and 40 ½ wide side toward the radiator, lower grill into open hole

5. Line up slotted holes on bottom bracket with existing holes in grill shell

6. Starting with center hole on bottom bracket, place a ¼-20 x 1 ½ inch long Button Head screw through decorative ring into grill shell. Start a nut onto bolt. Leave finger tight.

7. Continue the same process with the remaining 2 brackets on bottom.

8. Move to the top bracket and repeat steps 5 and 6 using a 1 inch long Button Head screw

9. Move to the left side and insert ¼-20 x 1 inch long SS Button Head screws into remaining holes and brackets, start nuts onto bolts.

10. Move to the right side and insert ¼-20 x 1 inch long SS Button Head screws into remaining holes and brackets, start nuts onto bolts.

11. When 24 bolts are installed, align grill side to side and top to bottom. Then tighten all ¼-20 fasteners.

12. Finally, check side to side alignment and tighten 10-32 screws
